After the lead screw is taken out of the shipping box, it should be placed horizontally on a wooden or plastic support. When installing the ball screw, remove the outer protective cover of the screw assembly.
If the lead screw is to be stored for a long time, it should be hung vertically to prevent the lead screw from bending due to its own weight.
Precision ball screw installation: The ball screw is only used to bear axial load. The surface of the ball screw may be damaged due to additional stress and radial load. The axis of the screw must be parallel to the axis of the support rail. When installing the nut, try to be as close as possible to the supporting bearing; similarly, when installing the supporting bearing, try to be as close as possible to the nut installation position.
Working environment: Under the condition of not exceeding the rated load and maintaining sufficient lubrication, the screw operating temperature range: -20 degree -110 degree . When the working temperature exceeds 110 degree C, a safety device must be installed on the ball screw circulation system. At high temperatures, the hardness of the ball screw decreases, reducing the load-bearing capacity and service life of the entire screw.
Nut loading and unloading: A sleeve should be used to install and remove the nut, otherwise the ball will slip off during the loading and unloading process. Pay attention to the following points when loading and unloading the nut: 1. The outer diameter of the sleeve should be 0.1-0.2mm less than the bottom diameter of the screw. 2 When in use, the sleeve must be close to the threaded shoulder.
During loading and unloading, do not apply excessive force to avoid damage to the nut. 4 When installing in the mounting hole, avoid impact and eccentricity.
Purpose: When installing the ball screw, the nut must be lubricated. The centralized lubrication system is adopted and grease is added regularly to ensure that the ball screw is well lubricated.
